Obv: Frontal bust of Christ bearded, with cross behind head, wearing tunic and himation. Right hand raised before breast in blessing, left hand holds book from beneath. IC XC above arms of cross and pellet surrounded by six rays beneath arms of cross in left and right fields.
Rev: MIXAHΛ RACIΛ O Δ. Frontal bust of Michael VII Ducas, bearded, wearing modified loros with collar-piece and crown with cross and pendilia. Labarum in right hand, globus cruciger in left hand.
