Moesia, Nicopolis ad Istrum. Gordian III, AD 238-244. AE. 9.82 g. 26.18 mm. Sabinus Modestus, legatus Augusti pro praetore.
Obv: ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝΤΩ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III, right.
Rev: ΥΠ ϹΑΒ ΜΟΔΕϹΤΟΥ ΝΙΚΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ ΠΡΟϹ ΙϹΤΡΟΝ. Eagle standing facing, head left, on thunderbolt, spreading wings, wreath in beak.
