Kings of Macedon, Alexander III ‘the Great’. AR Tetradrachm, 17.04 g 25.85 mm. 336-323 BC. Babylon I, struck under Seleukos I, circa 311-310.
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev: [ΒAΣIΛEΩΣ] – AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, monogram within wreath; below throne, H.
