Gordian III, AD 238-244. AR, Antoninianus. 5.37 g. 22.61 mm. Rome.
Obv: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG. Bust of Gordian III, radiate, draped, cuirassed, right.
Rev: ROMAE AETERNAE. Roma, helmeted, in military attire, seated left on shield, holding Victory in extended right hand and spear in left hand.
