Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt. Ptolemy II Philadelphos, 285-246 BC. AE, Obol. 6.49 g. - 18.84 mm. Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 285-261/0 BC.
Obv.: Head of the deified Alexander to right, wearing elephant skin headdress.
Rev.: ΠΤΟΛEMAIOY BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ. Eagle with wings spread standing to left on thunderbolt; to left, monogram of Σ and Ω above Galatian shield [and monogram of X and P]; between eagle's legs, Λ.
