PB Byzantine seal of Pardos, imperial protospatharios and droungarios of the Vigla (AD 9th century)
Obv: A patriarchal cross mounted on a base of three steps. Fleurons rise on both sides. Along the circumference, within a border of dots, a circular inscription.
Rev: Inscription of five lines: +Πάρδῳ πρωτοσπαθ(αρίῳ) (καὶ) δρου[γγ]αρ(ίῳ) τῆς βίγλας.
