Very Fine. Otho was born in Italy as a son of a wealthy, populous family of Etruscan origin. He was known for his extravagant and luxurious lifestyle. He was a close friend of Nero. After Nero started his relationship with Otho's wife, he often sent Otho on missions to different far away states. He supported Galba in his rebellion against Nero, perhaps due to his personal reasons. He believed that Galba would declare him as his successor. After Galba adopted someone else, Otho declared himself emperor. He ended his life by stabbing himself after losing the battle with Vitellius.
