PB Middle Byzantine pendant (c. AD 10th century)
Obv: Bust of the Virgin orans. Sigla on either side: Μ(ήτηρ) Θ(εοῦ); all within decorated border.
Rev: Cross with each arm ending in a pellet on three steps with tendrils flowing therefrom. In the angles of the cross, inscription: Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς νήκα; all within decorated border.
Traces of a missing loop.
