Kings of Macedon, Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Drachm, 4.20 g 18.20 mm. Kolophon mint. Struck under Philip III, circa 322-317 BC.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin
Rev: Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; ivy leaf below throne, spearhead to outer right.
