PB Byzantine seal of Sergios monk (c. AD 8th century)
Obv: Inscription of four lines: Θε[οτόκε] βοή(θει) τ(ῷ) σῷ δού[λῳ]. Wreath border.
Rev: Monogram: γ, ε, ι, μ, ρ, σ, χ: Σεργί(ῳ) μ(ονα)χ(ῷ).
Translation: Theotokos, help your servant Sergios monk.
Weight: 8.75 g.
Diameter: 23.53 mm.
