Description
PB Byzantine seal of Moses? imperial spatharokandidatos and tourmaches of ? (10th century AD).
Obv: A patriarchal cross mounted on a base of steps. Fleurons rise on either side; a circular inscription beginning with a cross at seven o'clock: Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δ(ούλῳ). Border of dots.
Rev: Inscription of five lines.
Weight: 9.98 g.
Diameter: 23.16 mm.
