ITALY, Papale (Stato pontificio). Martinus V (Oddone Colonna). 1417-1431. AR Grosso (23mm, 3.14 g, 6h). Rome mint. Martinus seated facing on leonine throne, raising hand in benediction and holding cruciform staff / Two keys crossed in saltire; crowned column above. Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe, p. 184 ; CNI XV, 13; MIR 279/1; Muntoni 12; Berman 271. Toned, minor roughness. Good VF. Rare.
