MEROVINGIANS, Banassac. Circa 620-640. AV Tremissis (14mm, 1.27 g, 6h). Maximinus, moneyer. + MAXIMIN V(horizontal S) MO, diademed head right; cross above, pellet below / BANNACACO FII, covered chalice surmounted by cross. Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe 56 ;NM 12; Belfort 691; Prou 2070; MEC 1, 425 (same obv. die). Toned. Good VF.
