Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. AV Aureus (19mm, 7.28 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Vespasian, AD 75. CAES AVG F DOMIT COS III, laureate head right / PRINCEPS IVVENTVT, Spes, draped, advancing left, holding up flower in right hand and raising hem of skirt with left. RIC II 787 (Vespasian); Calicó 912; BMCRE 155 (Vespasian); BN 131-4 (Vespasian); Biaggi 426; Jameson 78; Mazzini 374. Some scratches and marks. Near EF. Lustrous.
