SELEUKID EMPIRE, Seleukos I Nikator AR Tetradrachm. In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Babylon II mint, circa 311-305 BC.
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress
Rev: Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; BAΣIΛE[ΩΣ] below, AΛEΞANΔ[POY] to right, anchor and monogram in left field, A below throne
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 16.77 g.
Diameter: 24.5 mm.
