Bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta, r.

Zeus-Sarapis seated, l.; at feet, Cerberus.

In Ariassus, a small city of Pisidia, the cult of Sarapis with Egyptian connection is known only from the coins of Caracalla (VA Pis, I, no. 453–458). This new type of Geta coins reveals the importance of the cult in the city.
