ANDRONICUS II with MICHAEL IX (1295-1320 AD). GOLD Hyperpyron, Constantinople.
Obv: Bust of the Virgin orans within city walls. Uncertain sigla.
Rev: ANΔPNIKC XMOΠAΛ.
Andronicus, on the left, and Michael, on the right side, kneeling on either side of Christ standing facing and crowning both emperors.
Sear 2396.
Condition: Very fine.
