Sicily, Leontinoi, Tetradrachm, ca. 455-430 BC; AR (g 17,27; mm 25; h 3); Laureate head of Apollo r., Rv. Lion's head to r., with open jaws and tongue protruding; around, four barley grains and LEONTINOΣ (sic!). HGC 2, 667; Boehringer, Münzgeschichte, 36 (same reverse die).
Old cabinet tone; about extremely fine.
