Julius Caesar, Denarius, P. Sepullius Macer, moneyer, Rome, April-May 44 BC. AR (g 3,46; mm 19; h 11). Tetrastyle temple with globe in pediment; CLEMENTIAE CAESARIS around, Rv. Desultor wearing conical cap and holding whip, r. on horseback, second horse behind; palm frond and wreath to l.; P•SEPVLLIVS above, MACER below. Crawford 480/21; RSC 44; Sydenham 1076. Very fine
