Byzantine Anonymous. Class B. Romanus III. AE, Follis (Bronze) Constantinople. Anonymous. Class B. 1028-1034 AD. Obv: + EMM[A NOVHΛ] / IC X[C], Bust of Christ facing, holding book of Gospels and wearing nimbus cruciger; sqaare in each arm of cross; four pellets around one pellet in centre on book of Gospels. Rev: IS XC bASILE bASILE, legend in three lines divided by cross set on three steps. Ref: SB 1823. Year: 1028-1034 AD.
