KINGS OF CAPPADOCIA. Ariaramnes, circa 280-230 BC. AE (Bronze). Head of Ariaramnes to right, wearing bashlyk. Rev. Δ-H AP[IAPA]MNOY Ariaramnes on horseback right, raising spear; below, human head to right. HGC 7 -, cf. 795-6 (differing legends and without the head on the reverse). Simonetta -, cf. 3-9 (differing legends and without the head on the reverse). Apparently unpublished, a very interesting issue. Flan fault on the obverse and slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
