Pero un detalle aún más extraordinario de esta pieza es su fecha: , "fi shaban 'am" (en [el mes de] shaban del año...). Curiosamente, los rarísimos casos conocidos que citan el mes de acuñación se encuentran también en Córdoba y dentro de este período de tres años sin ejemplares "normales" en los catálogos. Un ejemplar con fecha "en shawal del año 493" fue subastado en el anterior volumen de la Colección Tonegawa, lote 325. Único ejemplar conocido. 4,09 g. EBC.
