Severus Alexander (222-235 AD). AR Denarius (19-20 mm, 3.69 g), Rome, 231-235 AD.
Obv. IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG, laureate bust to right, slight drapery on far shoulder.
Rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, holding grain ears over modius and rudder.
RIC 252.
Good portrait. Extremely fine.
