MAG· BR·FRA· ET·HIB REX·16 87·, crowned cruciform shields with sceptres bearing national emblems in angles, divided date above, legend around (KM460.1; S-3397A; Fr. 292).

All 5 guineas are prized pieces in any collection. This particular example displays uniform wear throughout with attractive surfaces for its grade and red highlights around devices, a sign of having been in a collector’s cabinet for a very long time. Coin still possesses a good relief with the majority of wear on higher points.
