Mongolia, People’s Republic, 1924-1992. 5 Mongo, Year 15 (1925), variety without “tail” on nayramdax, Leningrad (St. Petersburg) mint (KM3.2).

Strong strike with much mint red underlying lustre. Extremely rare variety in MS designation with none sold at public auction in the last decade. Following research, we discovered that PCGS differentiates these two varieties in their population reports. None have been graded in MS designation for this variety, in comparison to the other variety where three exist in MS designation. Top pop in both companies.
