Greece, Gold Cross of Valor, WWII. Crowned enamelled, silver gilt cross with St Dimitrios in the middle and ΑΞΙΑ (for valor) on reverse.
The highest military award for bravery in the battlefield in the Greek Army. Instituted in 1913, but first awarded during the Asia Minor Campaign in 1921.
Very fine with some chips on enamel.
