Greek. Calabria. Tarentum. Circa 450-380 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11.49 mm, 1.04 g). Head of Athena right, wearing crested helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone. Rev. Herakles crouching right, strangling the Nemean Lion; on the Lion’s back, owl standing left, head facing; club to left. Vlasto 1323-4. SNG ANS 1413. HN Italy 976. Toned. Edge slightly chipped. Extremely Fine.
