Ex Giovanni Dattari Collection 2988, Il Cairo. Ex Naville Numismatics Ltd. 55, 09.02.2020, Lot 323.

Another drachm, formerly in the Dattari collection, of particular rarity that concludes with its reverse, the series of Egyptian agricultural seasons, i.e. with the harvesting of crops done by the farmer who manually cuts the bundles of ripe ears of wheat with a special sickle. To be noted both in this specimen and in No. 379 of this collection (the complementary one), the peasant wears the same curious attire.
