Description
PERSIA. Alexandrine Empire. Uncertain satrap of Babylon, circa 328-311 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 8.00 mm, 0.34 g). Baaltars seated left, holding sceptre. Rev. Lion walking to left, spearhead to left above. Cf. Nicolet-Pierre 2 var. (tetradrachm). Traité II, 765 var. (same). BMC -, cf. 4 (same). Toned. Obverse slightly off center, otherwise, nearly Very Fine. Very rare.
