LUCANIA, Herakleia. Circa 390-340 BC. Nomos (Silver, 22.03 mm, 7.51 g). Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with Skylla holding rudder over shoulder. Rev. Herakles standing facing, upper torso turned right, wrestling with the Nemean Lion; PE, club, and shell to left. HN Italy 1376. Van Keuren 47. SNG ANS 59. HGC 1, 980. Weak struck. Nearly Very Fine.
