SELEUKID KINGS. Seleukos VI Epiphanes Nikator, circa 96-94 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29.57 mm, 15.18 g). Reduced standard. Seleukeia ad Kalykadnum, circa 96-94 BC. Diademed head of Seleukos VI to right; filleted border. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΣΕΛΕVΚΟV / ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟVΣ / ΝΙΚΑΤΟΡΟΣ Athena standing left, holding Nike in her right hand, left resting on grounded shield; behind her, spear; in outer left field, flower; in inner left field, ΘΕO and monogram of HA. Cf. SC 2403.1a (ΘΕ and monogram of ΠΑ). Houghton, Calycadnus 137 (same as previous). HGC 9, 1265. Struck on a broad flan, lightly double-struck on reverse, otherwise, Very Fine.
