Nimbate facing bust of Christ Pantocrator (Type Vf), wearing cross nimbus decorated with three elements in arms consisting of a central square and four dots at corners, long pointed beard, tunic and himation, holding book of Gospels with a pattern of 3x3 dots on cover, IC XC to left and right, all within double border of dots. Rev. + MIX AHΛ ΒACIΛΟΔ’ Bust of Michael facing, wearing crossed crown with two pendants, short beard, collar-piece and elaborate loros, holding labarum (with no pellet on shaft) decorated with a central square with four dots at corners, in the right hand and globus cruciger on the left hand, all within double border of dots.
