Greek Italy. Southern Apulia, Tarentum. AR Nomos, 480-470 BC. Obv. TAPA (P retrograde). Phalanthos riding on dolphin left, hands raised in front; below, cockle shell. Rev. Four-spoked wheel. HN Italy 833; HGC 1 754. AR. 7.69 g. 19 mm. R. Toned. On reverse traces of overstriking. Test cut (?) on obverse. VF.
