NATIVE AMERICAN STONE AXE American Archaic period, c. 9000-2700 years ago. Large stone axe with groove around the midsection. Dimensions: 175 x 119 x 57 mm. Intact and complete. Large lithic tool, typical of Native American cultures of North America, used for cutting trees and trunks.
