THREE WWI VOTIVE STATUETTES Europe, 1914-1918. Lot of three (3) lead votive statuettes from the First World War, containers made with bullets. Two depicting the Madonna and a Jesus. Statuettes heights: 25, 28.50 and 28 mm. Often used by soldiers in the great war as an object of faith. Sometimes it was found in the pockets of those killed in the battlefield.
