BRONZE SCALE WEIGHT Byzantine. Bronze square scale weight. The engraved 'NS' sign identifies it as being as heavy as six nomismata. Decoration with cross in the inscription, all surrounded by laurel wreath. 22x23 mm. 26.51 g. Bibl: Bendall 2020, p.29, n.44 but in square shape.
