HGC 7, 784; RPC I 3503. AE. g. 4.91 mm. 17.00 Good VF. In 37/6 BC, Antony awarded Galatia to Amyntas, who continued to rule until his death in 25 BC. Artemis’ features here resemble those of Kleopatra VII of Egypt, possibly as a sign of deference to Antony and the Egyptian queen (CNG 358, lot 152).
