Elagabalus (218-222). AR Denarius, Rome mint, 222 AD. D/ IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. R/ VICTORIA AVG. Victory flying left, holding diadem in both hands; on each side, a small shield; star in left field. RIC 161. AR. g. 2.83 mm. 19.00 Brilliant and superb. Lovely old cabinet tone, with iridescent hues. EF.
