Greek Asia. Seleucid Kings. Antiochos VIII Epiphanes (Grypos) (121-96 BC). AR Tetradrachm. Damaskos mint. Dated SE 199 (114/3 BC). Obv. Diademed head right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ/ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ/ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ. Zeus Ouranios standing left, holding star and scepter; two monograms to outer left; Θ koppa P (date) in exergue; all within wreath. SC 2323.7; HGC 9 1197f. AR. 16.47 g. 30 mm. Deposits. Good VF. Ex Münzen & Medaillen.
