Description
Greek Asia. Lesbos, Mytilene. EL Hekte - Sixth Stater, c. 377-326 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right; behind, serpent coiled right. Rev. Head of Artemis right, wearing sphendone, within linear frame and shallow incuse square. HGC 6 1026; SNG Cop. 317; SNG von Aulock 1715; Bodenstedt Em. 100B. EL. 2.55 g. 10.5 mm. Good VF.
