Description
Greek Asia. Mysia, Pergamon. AR Tetradrachm, c. 166-67 BC. Cistophoric type. Obv. Cista mystica with serpent within ivy wreath. Rev. Two serpents entwined around bow and quiver; to left, civic monogram; to right, dolphin swimming left. SNG BN -; SNG von Aulock 7460; Kleiner & Noe Series 23a. AR. 12.65 g. 27 mm. Deeply toned. Good strike. About EF.
