Continental Greece. Kings of Macedon. Lysimachos (305-281 BC). AR Tetradrachm, Amphipolis mint, 288-281 BC. Obv. Diademed head of Alexander the Great, wearing ram horns. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ. Athena Nikephoros seated left, left elbow resting on shield set on ground; to inner left, caduceus with handle; to outer right, monogram. HGC 3.2 1750l; Thompson 198; Müller 107. AR. 16.98 g. 30 mm.
