Description
Greek Italy. Northern Apulia, Teate. AE Uncia, c. 225-200 BC. Obv. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. TIATI (on left). Owl standing right, head facing; [in exergue, pellet]. HN Italy 702d; SNG ANS -; HGC 1 661. AE. 1.73 g. 11.5 mm. Choice specimen. Good VF.
