Description
Greek Italy. Northern Apulia, Teate. AE Teruncius, c. 225-200 BC. Obv. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. TIATI (on left). Owl right standing right on palm-branch; in exergue, three pellets. HN Italy 702b; SNG ANS 747-8; HGC 1 657. AE. 12.33 g. 26 mm. R. Emerald green patina. VF/Good VF.
