Description
Greek Italy. Northern Apulia, Teate. AE Quincux, c. 225-200 BC. Obv. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. TIATI (on left). Owl right on Ionic capital; before, five pellets. HN Italy 702a; SNG ANS 1226 (part 5); HGC 1 654. AE. 12.94 g. 25.5 mm. Scarce. Nice green patina. VF/Good VF.
