Description
Celtic World. Vindelici. AV Stater, 'Regenbogenschüsselchen' type I A, 2nd-1st century BC. Obv. Ring-shaped, snake-like animal left, with bristled spine and 'ram's horn' to left. Rev. Six pellets within torque. Lanz 2; Cf. Flesche 286; Kellner type I A, 1019ff. AV. 7.27 g. 20.5 mm. RR. Very rare type. VF.
