Philip I (244-249). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, 248 AD. Obv. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. SAECVLARES AVGG SC. She wolf standing left, suckling twins. RIC IV 159; Banti 46. AE. 19.49 g. 29.5 mm. Lovely bright green patina with red highlights. Broad flan and almost complete. About EF.
