Tyche seated left, holding grain ears and resting hand on rock outcropping; below, Pegasos flying left. Butcher 33 a var. (placement of reverse legend). SNG COP-. BMC-. AE. g. 26.84 Very rare. An outstanding example, exceptionally overweight and superb. Lovely olive green patina. About EF. Struck on heavy medallic flan ('piefort'): see CNG 396, lot 492 (g. 16.11) and CNG 325, lot 408 (g. 18.35).
