Heraclius (610-641) with Heraclius Constantine. AV Solidus. Uncertain eastern military mint. Struck 613-617. Obv. ∂∂ NN ҺЄRACLIЧS ЄT ҺRA CONST P. Facing busts of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine; each wears chlamys and crown with cross; Heraclius has short beard, whilst his son, whose bust is much smaller, is beardless; above, cross. Rev. VICTORIA AVςЧIΠ. Cross potent on three steps, CONOB beneath. D.O. 187 (Alexandria); MIB 77 (Cyprus); Sear 851 (Jerusalem). AV. 4.46 g. 23.00 mm. RR. Very rare. Superb and brilliant; light delicate tone. EF.
