Head of Arethusa left, wearing ampyx and sphendone, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; around, four dolphins (of one off flan) swimming in different directions. Rev. Crab within shallow circular incuse, seen from above. HGC 2 923; SNG ANS 501; SNG Cop. 481; Jenkins, Punic 46-7 (O6/-); Campana 22; CNP 502. AR. 16.48 g. 26.00 mm. R. Rare and fascinating issue, with an expressive portrait. Reverse off-centre. Good VF.
